Shawn Pander visits Steve Greenwell

Super talented Shawn Pander comes into the studio for a few tracks this month. He's a great songwriter with a great voice. He's been featured on Dr Phil's TV show for his ode to war vets, "Tell Mama", and he's the subject of a documentary as well. Check Shawn out here > shawnpander.com I'm working on putting together a super dope band to lay down some ultra thick grooves for this one.

Steve Greenwell Mixes The Disco Biscuits

These guys sold out 2 nights at the Nokia Theater on Times Square. Jam/Trance... The kids were going off ! Pretty cool band & scene. Anyway, started mixing a track, titled, "Quad D". It's like Gershwin, Coltrane & Coldplay on 1 track. Tons of elements. Definitely headphone material.

Sarah Hudson & Sami, "Ultraviolet", are in town doing some shows including, Perez Hilton's party celebrating his new radio show. Perez is a huge fan of the band.
Of course they always take a few days to stop by stevestudio to write their latest & greatest hits. I've co-written about 5 songs with the band, 3 of which have been released and are available for download. "Tiger Heat", "Dead On The Dancefloor", & "Hot, Hot, Riot". Stay tuned for the next ones & check out their page at www.myspace.com/ultravioletsound
